Until we can find the appropriate location to suit our design plans, we have decided to operate exclusively from our Design Center in Virginia Beach. Consultation and Design

A professional design consultant works with every customer. Your Consultant will spend time getting acquainted with your lifestyle needs, and will work with our Design and Engineering team to present the best options to fulfill those needs. Your Design Consultant has at their disposal the expertise of many Domes specialists in fields ranging from acoustical engineering to automation ease-of-use. Our goal is to provide you with the easiest to use, best performing home technology solutions, whatever your budget.

Our designers know that today’s savvy clients demand that they stay abreast of ever-changing technologies, which is no easy task. You need to live and breathe audio/video in order to stay on top of the industry’s latest. That is exactly what our designers do. This business is their passion! Their passion is what drives them to create the best “bang for your buck” system they can design.


Engineering

A benefit of our exclusive Engineering Department is having a team to constantly evaluate new technology and find the most reliable, highest performance products available within their category. Another benefit is that our engineering team evaluates your product integration, or how these components work together, before your system even enters your home. This ensures the performance of each component and the overall performance of your complete system. Our processes ensure that you get a reliable system designed for your specific need and budget.

Project Management

In addition to your Design Consultant every project, regardless of size, is assigned a project manager. The Project Manager’s job is to ensure that your project runs smoothly with a focus on you receiving the best final product. The Project Manager coordinates all participants involved on a project, whether it is a simple flat screen installation or a complex job requiring interaction with architects, designers, cabinet makers, or other trades people.

Installation Specialists
While many companies choose to continually pour money into extensive advertising campaigns, Domes prefers to reinvest in our employees. We regularly provide training for all department members both in-house and on-site with manufacturers, CEDIA, HTSA, and other industry related professional groups, to insure all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge of the products we carry. This multi-discipline training enables our technicians to provide a comprehensive installation and calibration of everything we sell.

Our company also has a certified electrician on staff, unlike many audio and video dealers. From a service standpoint this means we can pull electrical wiring for various components without you having to coordinate a separate electrician, and it allows us to instantly troubleshoot electrical based issues interfering with sound or video quality.
